With devasted and broken hearts, the Young Israel of West Hartford regrets to inform you of the passing of Elan Ganeles, Elan Aryeh ben Avraham Feivel V' Kayla Sarah z'l, son Carolyn and Andrew Ganeles, brother of Simon (Gila) Ganeles and Gabriel Ganeles, grandson of Aaron and Regina Rand, nephew of Miriam Silberman and cousin of Brian Silberman, murdered today in a brutal act of terrorism in Israel.
The funeral will take place in Israel and the family will be returning to West Hartford to sit shiva; more information will be forthcoming.
