Like many organizations, Winrock is reexamining its commitments of promoting diversity and ending systemic racism. In doing so, it’s drawing upon on an almost 70-year history of programs that address inequality, including those instituted by our namesake Winthrop Rockefeller, who pushed economic development in Arkansas, expedited desegregation of state schools, and became one of the most racially progressive governors in the South.
