Inspired by the Paris Agreement — and just in time for Earth Month  

Climate 1.5, a new series by Winrock International, is inspired by the urgent goal outlined in the Paris Agreement, brokered by former Winrock board member Christiana Figueres, to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Winrock’s Climate 1.5 series features climate experts in a cool 1.5 minutes — because when it comes to climate action, there’s no time to waste.

The Secretariat of the Architecture for REDD+ Transactions (ART), hosted by Winrock, welcomes the Lowering Emissions by Accelerating Forest finance (LEAF) Coalition, a public-private initiative that aims to raise global climate ambition and mobilize at least $1 billion in results-based finance for the protection of tropical forests.
