Students deserve to feel safe and supported in school! Marja Plater, John E. Nolan Youth Justice Senior Counsel, is testifying on poor repairs in DC public schools.
Racial inequity in traffic enforcement will have devastating effects for DC communities. Dennis Corkery, Interim Supervising Counsel, testified on this issue, saying:
"[I]t is cruelly ironic that people of color already experience the ill effects of the poor design of their communities, and then because of that callous design and racist underinvestment, they will bear the brunt of traffic enforcement."
