Resources for Women Veterans

We understand that women veterans have unique needs: barriers to quality healthcare, military sexual trauma, child care, financial instability, and so much more. DVS works to meet the challenges facing women veterans by connecting them to the services that are right for them.

If you are a NYC women veteran in need of support, please fill out the form at VetConnectNYC.org. A member of our Care Coordination team will contact you ASAP.

For additional resources, visit nyc.gov/vetwomen.

Add "PLY" Alongside Your Name

Veterans who participated as an athlete in a Paralympic Game can apply to have the post nominal letters "PLY" added alongside their name on official documentation, email signatures, resumes, business cards, or anywhere else their name may be used. This opportunity is open to veterans who participated in the Winter and Summer Paralympic Games, as well as the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, the Warrior Games, and the Invictus Games.

Paralympians are invited to apply to use the post-nominal letters by completing this online registration form.
