Get Tested for COVID-19
All New Yorkers should get tested NOW, whether or not you have symptoms or are at increased risk. You do not need insurance to get tested and your results are confidential.
There are over 150 convenient testing sites across NYC. Please head to www.nyc.gov/covidtest or call 311 to find a testing location near you.
Learn about Antibody Testing here.
Get tested. Protect your community. Help NYC bounce back.
Testing & Tracing Corps
1,700 Contact Tracers are now working for NYC's new Test & Trace Corps. These public servants will spot cases of COVID-19 across the City and connect people to treatment before the virus can spread. The Corps will test 50,000 New Yorkers per day by August 1. Learn more here.
Through vigilant service, our City will move past this crisis.
Answer the Call
The NYC Test & Trace Corps and the NYS Contact Tracing Program are working to call everyone who has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Please answer the phone if you get a call from:
- Test+Trace
- a 212 number
- “NYS Contact Tracing” (518-387-9993)
A contact tracer will NEVER:
- ask for your Social Security number
- ask for any private financial information
- ask for credit card information
- send you a link without proper authentication procedures
All calls are confidential and private.
