Here's Who's Affected by New Citizenship Policy for Children of Troops Serving Overseas
Military
A policy clarification from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services states that it will not revoke automatic citizenship for children of U.S. citizens born abroad, including troops and federal workers. But it will make adoptions and paperwork more complicated for some families of U.S. service members as well as citizens who haven't been in the U.S. for a while.

How a GI Bill Change Means Bigger Housing Stipends for Some Students
Military Times
A change in
Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits rules earlier this month means some student veterans will be eligible for larger housing stipends this semester. Veterans Affairs officials will now recognize any “hybrid training” — classes that are a mix of online and in-class instruction — as part of the calculation for full housing stipend rates...That’s significant because students using GI Bill benefits for online-only classes are eligible for living stipends of about $900 a month, whereas students in traditional in-person college classes routinely receive twice that amount.

Court Ruling Could Give Veterans an Extra Year of GI Bill Benefits
Military Times
