Every New Yorker deserves a safe, affordable home. That’s why the Adams administration financed a record number of affordable homes last year, set records for the most new supportive homes, and, just last week, unveiled another key part of our administration’s historic “City of Yes for Housing Opportunity” proposal to let faith-based organizations and non-profits create much-needed housing on their properties and convert old buildings into new homes. Here at DVS, we’re hosting community engagement sessions on housing, disability claims and more to make sure hard-working NYC Veterans know and understand the benefits they are entitled to so they can afford to live in our city.
