A Message From Mayor Adams:
Each week DVS shares a brief update about how our administration is getting stuff done for New Yorkers.
Thanks to the Adams administration’s efforts, we’re hitting crime head-on and addressing quality-of-life issues to create a safer New York City for all. A safer city is a healthier city and, last week, we announced that opioid overdose deaths were at their lowest levels in five years according to the most recent data. Our administration is investing millions to get those at risk of an overdose the care they need, all part of the mayor’s HealthyNYC plan to reduce overdose deaths by 25 percent by 2030.
