Teamwork and USS Constitution

There are numerous examples of the power of teamwork from throughout USS Constitution's history. This week at the Virtual Museum, we are highlighting just a few of these examples. Watch Carl Herzog's Historian at Home video to learn about teamwork on the Ship, gather your family together and march like a marine with our downloadable activity, and read about women working together to make waves on our blog.

1-Minute Object Video Series

Museum Learning and Curatorial staff have created a series of videos describing some of their favorite objects in our collection. But there's a catch: they only have one minute! Watch our staff rise to the challenge and share the stories of these fascinating objects on our website.

This Week in USS Constitution History

On July 16, 1812 off the coast of New York, Captain Isaac Hull and the crew of USS Constitution found themselves in the midst of five British ships. What is now known as "The Great Chase" had begun. How did the outnumbered Constitution crew escape this squadron? Visit our website to learn more about this key moment in the Ship's history.

Do you have a favorite USS Constitution moment in history? For World Emoji Day on Friday, July 17, describe it using only emojis on our social media channels! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to participate.
