On July 4th, follow the USS Constitution's Facebook page for a live Ship tour with Historian at Home Carl Herzog, a public trivia contest, and a 21-gun salute aboard "Old Ironsides".

A Sailor's Life, Live!

Just in time for USS Constitution's Fourth of July 21-gun salute, we are learning about the Ship's mighty firepower on the next episode of A Sailor's Life, Live! USS Constitution Museum Voted Family Favorite Historic Site

The USS Constitution Museum is thrilled to share that the Museum was selected as the 2020 Boston Parents Reader's Choice awards Family Favorite in the "Historic Sites & Tours" category for the third year in a row. We are honored to be voted the family favorite historic site in a category that included runners-up Fenway Park, John Adams Birthplace - Adams National Historical Park, Plimoth Plantation, and Old Sturbridge Village.

The Museum and a list of winners will be featured in the August 2020 issue of Boston Parents Paper and online on July 28, 2020. Boston Parents Paper is an award-winning magazine and website with information, tips, and resources that parents across Massachusetts have depended on for over 30 years.

Celebrate July 4th with a Gift to the Museum!

As America’s Ship of State, USS Constitution symbolizes timeless values of leadership, community, teamwork, and service. Independence Day is a time to celebrate those values and reflect on the ways that “Old Ironsides” can inspire Americans today. As we grapple with COVID-19 and the continued work of racial reconciliation, USS Constitution can offer powerful and timely lessons. Always ready, the diverse crew of Constitution achieved improbable victories, and contributed to Americans’ shared sense of national identity.

The USS Constitution Museum is dedicated to engaging all ages in the stories of “Old Ironsides” and her crew. Your gift today will support our thriving Virtual Museum and our dynamic Fourth of July programming, as well as our plans to safely reopen to the public.
