USAID Launches 2020 Water and Development Report
As we mark the 7th anniversary of the Senator Paul Simon Water for the World Act, the USAID Water Team is pleased to announce the publication of our latest annual Global Water and Development Report. The report spotlights USAID’s water security, sanitation and hygiene activities in support of the U.S. Government Global Water Strategy

This report highlights USAID’s WASH approach across key thematic areas, including the COVID-19 response, data-informed decision making, climate resilience, managing water resources in fragile states, and empowering women, illustrating how USAID programming increased access to sustainable drinking water and sanitation services, strengthened sector governance and finance, and improved water resource management over the past year. The report also summarizes USAID FY 2020 WASH funding and the results of its water and sanitation activities in the countries where USAID works.
