Hi! I'm Ben Eubanks. I have worked in and around HR for over 10 years, and it's been a source of joy (and challenge) for me in that time. I started upstartHR to pursue my life's mission:
make HR better, one HR pro at a time.
I don't know about you, but I realized pretty quickly that nobody else was sharing the inside tips and strategies for finding or making a career you love in HR. It feels like people who get a job or get promoted to leadership roles in HR suddenly forget what it was like trying to:
- break into the field
- get promoted
- find a company and culture they love
So I'm going to give you the approach that I used to get into an HR role (that was beyond my experience level) and then move up into a leadership role earning more than ever before in my life.
Most importantly, I loved my work, my team, and my company. Who wouldn't want to be able to say that?
