Dear all,

As some of you already know, the Baha'i International Community in collaboration with the Together First and UN2020 networks hosted the first of a series of informal, virtual breakfast dialogue to consult on the UN75 Elements Paper. Thank you to those that joined this initial meeting last Thursday.

The aim of this off-the-record space (concept note) is to discuss and determine suggestions that respond to the Paper in light of the current pandemic. One of many key issues arising from that discussion, attended by over 150 people including 21 Member State representatives, was an incongruence between the scope of the problems faced by humanity, and the capacity of our multilateral system. A one-page summary is available here

We would like to cordially invite you to join this week’s breakfast dialogue which will focus on the second section of the Elements Paper: "Delivering on Commitments and Responding to Global Challenges" on Thursday, 30 April from 8:30 - 10:00 AM EDT (Zoom link, RSVP). The final session in this series will take place on 7 May.

In order to promote frank and honest dialogue, contributions can be made anonymously, ensuring the presence of a constructive spirit. At the end of each discussion, a one-page un-attributed document, like that which is attached, will be produced as a substantive contribution to the process.

We look forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,
