Masses of new players have been discovering Splinterlands. Record percentages of those players have been purchasing the $10 Summoner's Spellbook upgrade that unlocks their ability to own and earn. Basically, the incredible play2earn gaming attracts new players, and the ability to earn plus an amazing community of existing players makes sure they stay around.
We are blown away by the support, patience and loyalty of our community, which continues to shine as one of the brightest and strongest examples of a blockchain community today.

We're still seeing record breaking growth and we're set to double Summoner's Spellbook owners again by the first week of September. Scaling is always a significant challenge when growing at this pace. Please expect some hiccups, turbulence, and down time as we continue to cope with the massive influx of people to the game.
Some items on our development roadmap have been slightly postponed while we deal with the #1 priority of scaling, so thank you for your patience!

ΛZMΛRÉ Dice - Sold Out!
With an incredible rush of sales straight through the finish line, the ΛZMΛRÉ Dice mini edition of Splinterlands cards sold out on August 17th. A total of 300,000 packs were sold in this set, and all were purchasable only with Dark Energy Crystals.
Even in spite of the current relatively high trade value of DEC, more than 20,000 DICE sold in the last 24 hours of the sale. Because this DEC is burned from the total supply, this was the biggest DEC bonfire we have ever seen! Before discounts, 20,000 DICE would cost a cool 60 million DEC (currently around $400k).
Unopened packs can still be picked up on the secondary markets at Tribal DEX and Atomic Hub. Hopefully everyone is as excited as we are for the upcoming release of a brand new DEC miniset called Riftwatchers. |

Brawls 2.0 - Gladius Cases, New Gladiator Cards and More!
Led by Brawlmaster Cryptomancer, our Brawl dev team has been hard at work building and testing the incredible next layers of the Guild Brawl system: Brawls 2.0. You all better be prepared to step up your Guild game, because soon you'll be stacking a new Guild currency (Merits) and a brand new type of pack (Gladius Cases).
Gladiators will only be usable in Guild Brawls, and Gladius Cases will only be purchasable with Merits, the new Guild currency.

Splinterlands is blowing away our own records on a daily basis with incredible growth on every front. The card market cap has risen to well over $100 million, with many players seeing substantial daily increases on the secondary market value of their collections.
