Workshop on Integrating Human Rights and Gender in 2021 Regional Events Held
SEI’s Strategic Collaborative Fund programme hosted a learning workshop on 27 September 2021 for its grantees to guide them in the design and implementation of regional events in 2021.
The workshop aims to build capacity and deepen understanding on how to integrate human rights and gender equality approaches. Camille Pross and Andrea Torre from SEI Asia discussed gender mainstreaming concepts, while Victor Bernard highlighted rights-based approaches to environmental sustainability. The webinar also allowed for an interactive, one-on-one dialogue with partners where they are encourage to ask questions relating to how how they can make human rights and gender at the center of regional policy events.

Climate and environmental entrepreneurs are defined as change agents who see the creation of ventures as a way to address urgent climate and environmental challenges. Climate entrepreneurs can provide a catalyst to combat climate change and achieve the 2030 Agenda goals.
