dancing bear music & arts festival | a look back

Since Quest students first organized the Dancing Bear Music & Arts Festival in 2009, the event has evolved into a major local tradition “for students to celebrate the end of the school year and to bring the community up to the campus," as stated by original organizer Caleb Tomlinson ’11 in 2009.

The inaugural event featured performers such as The Paperboys, The Fugitives, Brand New Waves, Fish and Bird, Kunaka Marimba, Karmetik Collective, Hayfa Makes Music, as well as local talent. The 2019 edition will include exciting acts such as Dirty Radio, I M U R, Schewy, The Pack A.D., and more.

Here are some pics from previous years!

"Music is the greatest communication in the world. Even if people don't understand the language you're singing in, they still know good music when they hear it."
