It’s getting so close!
Today could be the day you change someone’s life.

Last fall, Quest launched a Scholarship Campaign to raise $200,000 by April 30. Through generous contributions, we’ve already raised $135,000 that will help more of our deserving applicants access Quest’s revolutionary education. We’re so close. Please help us meet our goal and support the next generation of Quest students. Any amount that you give makes a real difference.

Although April 1 has come and gone, we thought this prank was too good to not share again, especially since our Facebook post ranked as one of the best April Fool's jokes in Squamish this year.

We hope you enjoy this as much as we did!

As President George Iwama continues to make progress in his recovery, Quest decided Monday to move forward with a helicopter landing pad on campus.

“It just seemed like this was the right time,” said Jasmine Aimaq, Quest’s Director of Communications and a member of the university’s Executive Team. "George is on crutches, and we thought, hey, let’s just do this already. It’ll make things way easier for him, and frankly, the rest of us.”

The landing pad will be built on top of the Library Building and lead directly to the elevator for ease of access. “It's all about the comfort," said Aimaq. "Sure, it will probably upset some birds and create extra pollution, which may seem contrary to our values, but we are pretty cutting-edge and extravagant consumerism is much more 'now'.”

Quest is also looking into a presidential helicopter modeled on Marine One, which looks very cool in movies and seems like a reasonable next step for the school, now in its second decade.

Construction on the landing pad is expected to finish in time for Commencement. The university said that parents and students arriving to the event in private helicopters "can totally use it too."

Dancing Bear Music & Arts Festival is back on April 27 with a full-day of incredible musical performances, art, market vendors, activities for kids, and food trucks! The event is all-ages and kids 12 and under are free.

The organizers would like to extend an invitation to all Quest students, faculty, staff and their families to celebrate the end of another incredible academic year. Everyone with a valid Quest student, staff or faculty ID (and their families) will receive discounted tickets at $15 each.

3: a team of awesome people at Quest, comprised of alums, student ambassadors, and staff who get to meet prospective students from all over the world and introduce them to our amazing university. We may be biased.
