#GivingTuesday was a big success!
Donors like you gave $11,436, bringing our total for the 2018 Scholarship Campaign to over $97,000! Please give by December 31 to help us meet, or exceed, our goal of $100,000. We are so close! We’re also looking to kick off the new year with momentum toward our goal of $200,000 by end of April 2019. Any amount you give, at any time, makes a difference.
Each year, hundreds of students from around the world benefit from the support of donors like you. As a subscriber to The 3200, you already know the story of Cyrus Raj Gautum ’22, a Nepalese student whose university dreams came true in 2018 thanks to a Quest Scholarship. Without your help, many deserving students would not have the chance to experience Quest’s groundbreaking and life-changing program. Your gift will have an impact that lasts a lifetime.
Thank you!

Thank you to the Heilman family for their generous support.
Tyler’s experience as a Summer Fellow was such an important part of his Quest education that his parents created a Memorial Fund to help future Quest students take part in this enriching program. Tyler constructed the Garibaldi Provincial Park weather station as part of the 2014 Quest Summer Fellows Program, and subsequently, his Keystone project.
On November 15, we gathered in the Quest MPR to attend the Tyler Heilman Colloquium. Dr. Johanna M. Rommens, Scientist Emeritus at the Program in Genetics & Genome Biology for the Research Institute at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, gave a talk about tackling genetic diseases. Dr. Rommens, who is also Professor of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto, has published numerous research papers on human genetics and diseases, including cystic fibrosis.
We are honoured to continue this tradition in Tyler’s memory.
About the Tyler Heilman Colloquium
Tyler Heilman graduated from Quest University in May 2015. He was 22 years old when he died tragically in a climbing accident. In memory of Tyler, who was a Summer Fellow, his family and friends created the Tyler Heilman Memorial Fund, administered by the Quest Fellowship Program, which sponsors the annual Colloquium.
