Dear Democrats,
As I approach the end of my second month in my new role, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to all those who have generously given their time, talent, and resources to make Florida a better place for all its residents. Your unwavering commitment to our Democratic values inspires me every day.
To the dedicated DEC members, DEC Chairs & Officers, Clubs, and Caucuses, I extend my sincere gratitude for the invaluable work you do. As the month of April comes to an end, I would like to issue a challenge to all counties for the upcoming month of May. In order to effectively counter the harmful bills that have been passed by the Republican legislature and signed into law by Ron DeSantis, we need to take action in our communities by registering voters and promoting Vote-by-Mail Ballots.
I am urging every DEC, Club, and Caucus to schedule a minimum of three canvassing events during the month of May with the sole purpose of registering voters and encouraging them to sign up for VBM. It is imperative that we take proactive steps if we are to achieve electoral victories in Florida. Together, we can make a difference and work towards a brighter future for our state. I ask that everyone share pictures of your canvass with partyaffairs@floridadems.org. |
