Dear Democrats,
From unpopular legislation to failures to engage in disaster repsonse, Republican leadership has left our state behind. In the dark of night Thursday evening, the governor signed into law an extreme 6-week abortion ban. As your Chairwoman, you have my commitment that our party will continue to fight back against these attacks on our freedoms.
To the House and Senate Democrats who have fought these battles for us each day during legislative session, we are eternally grateful for your leadership and will continue to stand and fight with you.
Last week, the Fort Lauderdale area was impacted by heavy rain and is still experiencing catastrophic flooding with thousands affected. As leaders, it's important that we come together and show support for our neighbors during this recovery. Please use the information below to join our South Florida grassroots leaders in supporting recovery efforts with direct contirbutions and volunteer power. |

In response, South Florida leaders and grassroots organizers have engaged their networks and are asking for your support to bring relief to neighbors in need.
The Support Form linked below can be used by affected residents to request assistance, by supporters to provide financial contributions, or by volunteers to sign up to provide help. For additional relief, please review the City of Fort Lauderdale Recovery Efforts page here. |
