About Our Tank Timepieces

This unique piece of 1968 history built to protect and save the lives of men and women travelled the globe in its endeavours. In the 80’s it began service with the oldest tank unit in the world- the 1st Royal Tank Regiment (1 RTR) of the British Army. It finally came to rest in Ralston, Alberta, Canada as part of the live fire training exercises conducted by the British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS). What was once a Fighting Vehicle (FV432) has been repurposed into the live edge dial of this timepiece to continue its heroic endeavours alongside you.

We're proud to use this history for our limited edition timepieces. Only 20 made of each model.

“By far one of the most beautiful and timeless pieces I've done. The live edge pays homage to the amazing work military men and women do all over the world and the wire hands ensure the history doesn't disappear behind them!”

— Steve Christensen / Watchmaker at NOVO watch

The process of each timepiece (pictured below):

Photo 1. The FV432 serves its country from 1968 until 1992 along side brave men and women.
Photo 2. The vehicle comes to the end of its life and helps the future wave of military men and women train for combat by becoming a target during live firing exercises.
Photo 3. We reclaim what's left and start the process of giving it new life as a timepiece.
Photo 4. After hours of work, assembly is finished and we send it off to its new owner as a treasured piece of history with a deep and important meaning.

*limited to only 20 pieces

With each purchase of the Suffield $100 will be donated to Wounded Warriors Canada (or Wounded Warrior Project in the USA).

Who We Are:

My name is Steve and I make watches. I have been a watch fanatic for as long as I can remember and absolutely love that I get to craft beautiful pieces of art as my job! I believe in doing what I love and always being inspired, which is why the focus of my timepieces are a little more unique.

My products are hand crafted in small batches using reclaimed material that tells a story. They’re designed to reflect the history and culture from which they came. I like to think I create some of the worlds most beautiful and storied timepieces.

I'm a human just like you and if you ever want to chat about watches (mine or others) feel free to reach out.
