Later that day, we were both on Sauga 960am, with their host Richard Syrett, to discuss how Doug Ford quietly imposed this "law" thanks to Bill 195 - the so-called "Re-opening Ontario Act." Last summer, voting against Bill 195 led to my expulsion from the PC caucus and the expulsion from the Ontario PC Party of 18 volunteers on the Cambridge PC riding association board who supported my position.

By Friday afternoon, after we flushed out and made public Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party's underhandedness, staff from the Premier's office finally confirmed their plans to implement a COVID-19 vaccine passport.
The Ford family's "favourite" media personality, Brian Lilley, confirmed that a "senior PC source" said that a "COVID-19 vaccine passport system" would be announced by the government to provide the necessary proof of vaccination status for Ontarians looking to access non-essential businesses and public spaces in the future.
Yesterday, Lilley wrote that the Ford PC government will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination to gain access to non-essential businesses such as restaurants, gyms, and other indoor settings. The plan will see the current paper or digital receipt used as a proof of vaccination alongside government-issued identification for a month. This will be followed by the Ontario government deploying a phone application that will use a QR code and also require government identification.
Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party can't be trusted with anything they say. In the end, they will always side with left-wing ideology.
With the federal election campaign underway, remind your friends that even if Doug Ford's best friend, Justin Trudeau, is removed as Prime Minister, this won't stop Ontario's ongoing lockdown.
Mandatory vaccinations, masking policies, and the coming COVID-19 vaccination passport, are all provincial laws that are the fault of Doug Ford and the Ontario PCs - a party that is controlled by lobbyists and left-wing ideologues.
The Ontario PC government currently has the "power" to control private businesses and organizations because we are still living under emergency measures due to the extension of Bill 195 - set to expire in December. The Ford PC government will likely then look to re-extend these emergency measures for a third time since, as I have repeatedly said, they have no plan to re-open Ontario and get things back to normal.
Without Bill 195's emergency measures in place, there is no clear mechanism under the law that explains how the Ontario government intends to continue to micromanage private businesses, churches, and organizations.
Eventually the sun will set on Bill 195.
And the sun will set on Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party.
That is why I am committed to running for re-election as a Member of Provincial Parliament in next year's Ontario general election.
