On the Global 100 list of the world's most sustainable companies Neste reached its best ranking ever by placing 2nd. Neste has been included on the list 12 times in a row now, which no other energy company in the world has managed to do.

Neste’s renewable fuels reduced global climate emissions by 8.3 million tons in 2017

Replacing fossil fuels with Neste’s renewable fuels reduced global climate emissions altogether by a staggering 8.3 billion kilograms in 2017. The emission reduction is calculated by comparing the life cycle emissions of the renewable fuels that Neste produces in a year to the life cycle emissions of conventional European diesel.

The City of Espoo takes steps towards becoming carbon neutral

The Public Works Department at the City of Espoo has decided to use Neste MY Renewable Diesel, produced entirely from waste and residues, in all of its diesel-powered machines. The transition to renewable diesel is part of the target to make Espoo completely carbon neutral by 2030.

The Ham Trick campaign hit the roof – over 145,000 households participated

Last Christmas the Ham Trick campaign exceeded all expectations. A total of nearly 44,000 kg of ham fat was collected - enough raw material for Neste MY Renewable Diesel to drive 14 times around the world. The campaign is a good example of the circular economy and proves that recycling is valued very greatly in Finland.
