Josh Harder's vulnerability, the "Mueller" report, Democrats
spending habits, Californians can't afford homes
Friends,

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families affected by yesterday's shooting in Gilroy. This is a tragedy for our region and all of California.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee named Rep. Josh Harder (D-CA10) to its Frontline Program – a program to defend the party’s most vulnerable members.
Former special counsel Robert Mueller testified on Capitol Hill last week on his two-year-long investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. “The fallout from Wednesday’s disastrous performance by Robert Mueller in the Capitol includes a nearly 450-page report now in question. We don’t know who wrote it. We don’t know who really ran the investigation. We do know that several investigators on Mueller’s team were rabidly anti-Trump and pro-Hillary Clinton,” the Boston Herald editorial board writes. “Members of the team attended Clinton events, donated to her campaign and even legally represented some of her associates.”

Key take aways:
Speaking to the massive budget deal that passed the house, acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said, When the Democrats won the House, everybody knew we’d end up spending more money,” The deal increases spending by $320 billion which is expected to push the annual budget deficit to a monstrous $1 trillion next year. I agree with Rep. Massie (R-Kentucky) who offered an amendment to change the title of the budget deal to read "A bill to kick the can down the road, and for other purposes."
California leads the Nation in out-migration as high costs force more Californians out.
