The United States conducted a strike against an Iranian General on Friday, leading some to praise the Administration, while others warn that the action may have moved the United States and Iran closer to war. John Bolton, a former National Security Advisor to the President, said in a statement on Monday that if he were to be subpoenaed by the Senate to testify in the impeachment trial that he would. “I have had to resolve the serious competing issues as best I could, based on careful consideration and study. I have concluded that, if the Senate issues a subpoena for my testimony, I am prepared to testify,” said Bolton.
