Red Chair on a red hot spring day
May has been weather "mayhem" from temperatures in the low 20s with over 6" of snow to two days in a row this week over 90 degrees. But, Vermont is doing well and the Governor is easing restrictions as our collective work to be safe during COVID-19 is paying off.
For Magic this means we can expect outdoor dining, with possible indoor dining permitted, when we plan to re-open the Black Line Tavern June 25th. The mountain has dried out a bit so we can do work on the disc golf course to open that by mid-June (disc golf season passes will go on sale online-only starting this weekend). We are even hoping to host a graduation event for a local high school up on Sunshine Corner by donating our personnel and Green Lift service for a special post-grad event outdoors in a safe environment. All activities at Magic will be following strict state safety and health protocols, and we expect the same from our guests.
On the more good news front, Pfister Mountain Services was back at Magic this week working on the lower Quad terminal and we took delivery of the Quad's new 400 horsepower drive and controls cabinet which will get our skiers and riders powering to the summit this coming season. Lots of work left to do, but this is a good start to finishing up this big project to secure Magic's future!

Two Weeks Left on Early Bird Sale
Our Early Bird Season Pass sale has been going well as skiers and riders seek a friendly, less crowded, more personal experience combined with big mountain terrain and adventure. Whether Magic is home or a must-go diversion from an Ikon or Epic resort, there's an affordable way to be a part of the vibe here..Every pass we sell--from discounted Couples passes to Black Out and White Out Passes, to Sunday-Only and Powder midweek passes--every one goes right back into mountain operations to pay our crew and improve this independent oasis. June 15 is the deadline to save big on already affordable pass options
Thank you for making Magic happen! And, stay well,
-Geoff
