Online Native Plant Sale Preorders Set Sales Records in First Week

KCD’s Plant Sale preorders opened November 15. In two weeks, customers purchased just over 7,900 bundles of native plants, with many species selling out! Only seventeen species remain available.

We still have plenty of affordable, hearty, and beautiful native plants left though, especially Beargrass, Grand Fir, Oso Berry, Red Elderberry, Shore Pine, Sitka Spruce, Vine Maple and Western Hemlock.

To help improve the pickup process at the Tukwila Community Center in March, we ask that customers select a one-hour pickup time slot before checking out. This will help minimize customer waiting times. Thank you to those who have placed orders and selected a pickup time. If you forgot to select a time before making your purchase, we will reach out to you in a follow-up email to select an available slot. Most Saturday pickup times are taken, but we do have 3-4pm still available, and Sunday has most pickup times still available.
