Saturday, October 9, 1-3:30pm
We're heading to Manhattan! This two-part public program takes Mary Holiday Black’s Ceremonial Basket, Black, Red, White (c. 1998) in MAD’s permanent collection as a catalyst for collaboration. Facilitated by Diné (Navajo) artist Damian Jim and volunteers from Interference Archive, this event highlights the importance of collective-making processes in crafts and celebrates the unexpected results of co-creation.
This event has onsite and online components at Museum of Art and Design, and has a registration fee. Sign up here.
Can't join us on October 9th? Stay tuned; we'll share a video of the discussion when it's available.
