Join us again on Wikipedia: Sunday, March 7!

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us last month to edit Wikipedia! We worked on articles about The Shadow, Circus Amok, Fay Chiang, and more. We're gathering again this Sunday to improve online representation about the Lower East Side.
When: Sunday, March 7, 2-4pm
What: Learn how to edit Wikipedia, and join the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space (MoRUS) and Wikimedia NYC to expand knowledge of the Lower East Side online. We will work together to expand Wikipedia’s coverage of the community gardens, community centers, grassroots movements, galleries, clubs, squats and homesteads that have contributed to the Lower East Side's incredible cultural footprint.
No experience needed; we'll help you create a Wikipedia account and teach you how to edit content. A breakout room will be set up for experienced editors who want to dive right into editing. The edit-a-thon runs from 2-4 pm, but you can stay for as long (or as short) as you like.
Please register on Eventbrite (and we’ll send you a link for the event on the day of).

We're remembering Dara Greenwald, Interference Archive co-founder and incredible human, born fifty years ago on on February 27, 1971. Dara joined the realm of our ancestors in January 9, 2012 but Interference Archive continues the work she helped start. Her work and memory reminds us that resistance and organizing can be fun and creative.
