We’re so close to hitting our year end fundraising goal but we need an extra boost—can you help out? We’re just a little more than $1,000 away and every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference.

The most significant portion of Interference Archive’s funding is donated by individuals like you. Interference needs the peoples’ support, so please consider a one-time donation or become a sustaining member today. If you already do, we’d love for you to invite your friends to join you in your support. Visit interferencearchive.org/become-a-member to make a donation today.

Interference Archive is a space for and by community, and we all have so much to get done in 2020!. The coming year already holds exhibitions, events, and collective archiving work all in support of current and past movement and liberation organizing. We’re sharing a few highlights here, and we hope to see you soon at the archive.

What’s coming up in the new year:

Our current exhibition, Building for Us: Stories of Homesteading and Cooperative Housing, has a terrific schedule of programs before it wraps up on February 2nd. Register now for an Intro to Cooperative Homeownership class at 6pm on January 6th, and check out our January 9th archiving workshop for preserving your co-op’s history. We’ll celebrate the work of homesteading over the past fifty years with a series of short films about housing and homesteading on January 26th.

That’s not all! Join us for a volunteer orientation for the Prison Library Support Network on Friday, January 24th.

Mark your calendars:
our next exhibition opens on February 20, 2020

Exhibition Opening: February 20, 2020, 6:30 - 9pm

Join us for part two of Like the Waters We Rise: Climate Justice in Print, a two-part exhibition created with support from the Nathan Cummings Foundation. The materials mounted at Interference Archive include a collection of archival prints documenting the historical legacies of movements that gave birth to the current climate justice movement, including the Indigenous sovereignty movement, the farmworker movement, Black liberation struggles, and more.

Interference Archive exists because people like you believe in what we do.

The backbone of this community are sustainers who make a regular contribution to the archive, generally of $10 to $50 each month.

Visit our website to learn how you can become a monthly sustainer of Interference Archive!
