Higher Education, Agenda 2030 and the SDGs

IAU Horizons Focus Asia & Pacific: We are less than ten years away from the deadline set for Agenda 2030, and much remains to be done. Each month we give the floor to university leaders and experts who share solutions to integrate sustainable development into higher education.

This month we focus on Asia and the Pacific region with eight contributions from our Members exploring the key role higher education plays in leading communities and society to better understand and accept changes to achieve the SDGs.

Furthermore, the latest issue of IAU Horizons delves into Higher Education and Research for SD, presenting different leadership approaches to a more sustainable university.

The IAU priority Higher Education and Research for Sustainable Development (HESD) translates into a series of projects for international cooperation, capacity building, advocacy, and a knowledge hub with publications and online services.
