NEW REPORT! Domestic carbon standards in Europe
I4CE provides an overview of existing domestic carbon standards in Europe, developed in the early 2010's in response to the growing interest of companies in financing local carbon projects.  This report highlights the obstacles the standads must overcome, their future development and topics on which they could collaborate.

Climate budget assessment for cities

Local authorities absolutly need to identify within their budgets what contributes to the ecological transition. Based on the work carried out by I4CE at the French national level, the Institute is working on the co-construction of a climate budget assessment framework for local authorities in collaboration with five French cities.

The European Commission has just released a survey about its non-financial reporting directive to gather feedbacks from all over Europe. Opportunity to read again the two I4CE's reports below and to announce the release in spring of our guide on scenario analysis for non-financial companies.
Article 173: Overview of climate-related financial dislosure after two years of implementation
In this policy brief published in November 2018, I4CE analysed the application of French law on climate reporting (article 173) and its implications for climate reporting practices and investment management. I4CE made recommendations to improve its impact at the French level. 
Very few companies make good use of scenarios to anticipate their climate-constrained future
Businesses have to adapt to those changes, which entails risks and opportunities. This 2019 I4CE Climate Brief gave an overview of the degree of implementation of climate-related scenario analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities, based on the answers of a sample of 2,003 companies to CDP 2017 Climate Change questionnaire.
