Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a very large one-story warehouse. The Hazardous Materials Team arrived and took readings and first responding crews were sent to decontamination. The warehouse contained chemicals, particularly epoxy resin to produce an end product. A sprinkler system had helped to extinguish the fire and fans were used to push the remaining smoke out of the building. After Hazmat reported a zero reading, post decontamination was initiated and the incident was tapped out. Crews from Stations 36, 55, 23, 26, 70, 17, and 61; and HFD Hazmat and Rescue responded to this incident.
