Warehouse Fire in Greater Hobby Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a large warehouse and found that the main body of the fire was in two storage containers. The fire had spread to the warehouse. Crews began an offensive attack and several sprinkler heads inside the warehouse kept the fire from spreading. The fire was extinguished and HFD Hazmat determined there the scene was safe from hazardous materials. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determined the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 23, 46, 26, 29, 35, 36, 40, 55, 61, 24 and Hazmat responded to the incident.
