Warehouse Fire in Alief Area

Firefighters arrived on scene to find a warehouse with a charred door and fire. They forced entry and controlled the fire while a primary search was completed. A hole was cut for ventilation and the utilities were secured. There were large containers of chemicals and firefighters were washed down. Air levels, excluding were within acceptable ranges after the fire was extinguished. There was no extension into the neighboring pool company business and after ventilation, the offices and warehouse section was cleared. Crews from Stations 2, 68, 83, 10, 73, 82, 51, 76 and 57 responded to this incident.
