Tortilleria Business Fire in Magnolia Park Area
WHAT:

INJURIES:
1 Firefighter suffered from a leg injury and was transported to the hospital.
PROPERTY SAVED:
$60 thousand in estimated property saved
DAMAGE:
$180 thousand in estimated damage
CAUSE:
Failure of equipment or heat source
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene and found fire coming from a vent hood of the roof of a tortilleria business. They began an offensive attack and ventilated the building. Crews also worked to protect the nearby structures from exposure and the fire was extinguished. One firefighter injured his leg and was transported to the hospital. Crews from Stations 20, 23, 17, 18, 40, 42 and 30 responded to this incident.
