The Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston to Announce Major Donations of Emergency Equipment to The Houston Fire Department

The Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston will announce
donation of more than $260,000 in emergency and rescue equipment to the Houston Fire Department. *Equipment will be displayed at the press conference.

The Fire Fighters Foundation was formed in 2006 specifically to raise funds to purchase much- Needed, life-saving equipment for the Houston Fire Department and has purchased more than $1 million in equipment over the years.
Following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey, fund raising efforts were directed to the purchase of emergency equipment for rescues and evacuations. Major donations by AT&T, HEB, Metro National, Civic Entertainment and KBR were instrumental in the purchase of this latest donation of equipment.
Special Speakers and Guest will include Mayor Sylvester Turner, Council Member Brenda Stardig, Fire Chief Sam Pena, Chairman of the Fire Fighters Foundation of Houston Lee Vela, President of MetroNational Jason Johnson, Vice President of Public Affairs - AT&T Tracy King, and Executive Vice President of HEB Armando Perez.
