HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental
|
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene to find a single story attached garage on fire and began an offensive attack. There was heavy smoke and crews worked to stop the fire from spreading into the main structure. A primary search was done on the main structure which was a 2-story funeral home under renovation. A resident had been sleeping in the upstairs bedroom and was awoken by a passerby beating on the door. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 7, 15, 46, 8, 16, 25 and 24 responded to this incident.
