Strip Center Fire in Westchase Area

HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental
|

|
Firefighters arrived on scene with a moderate amount of smoke coming from the middle of a strip center. After forcing entry into several businesses, the fire was found in a seafood restaurant. As firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, a primary search was completed of the restaurant and nearby businesses. Citizens were also evacuated from other stores in the center. There was only smoke with no fire extension into the other businesses. Crews from Stations 2, 68, 78, 10, 69, 83, 75 and 24 responded to this incident.
