Strip Center Fire in Carverdale Area

HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as incendiary.

|
Firefighters arrived on scene with smoke coming from the corner of a 1-story strip center. They forced entry and attempted to locate the fire and found heavy smoke. Crews ventilated the roof, opened up the exterior facade and the interior ceilings. A small fire was found and extinguished. Fans were used to ventilate the smoke and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 77, 2, 5, 49, 50, 57, 66, 69 and Rescue 10 responded to this incident.
