Although the golf tournament has been cancelled, The 13th Annual Houston Firefighters' Charity Golf Classic Luncheon and Auctions with KSBJ's Johnny Bravo will be held.

The Houston Firefighters' Charity Golf Classic benefits the Houston Firefighters' Protection Fund. Although the golf tournament has been cancelled due to bad weather, there are more than 40 silent auction items and over 50 raffle prices.
The Pine Forest Country Club will provide vouchers for players who signed up for today's event.
The Houston Firefighters’ Protection Fund (HFPF) was created in 2006 to assist Houston firefighters and their families with incidental, emergency costs associated with long-term hospital care or extensive medical treatment due to injury or illness. In the event of a serious injury or illness requiring at least three days in the hospital, a check will be drawn from the HFPF account and delivered directly to the family by a member of the Firefighters’ Support Network. The family receiving this check can use these funds however they wish for whatever they need to provide for their loved ones.
The protection fund is solely funded by donations to the golf tournament and other private donations.
