Restaurant Fire in Neartown – Montrose Area
WHAT:
Restaurant Fire

INJURIES:
No reported injuries
PROPERTY SAVED:
$345 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:
$105 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:
HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene with fire coming from the attic of a 2-story restaurant building. They began an attack on the fire and checked for extension. A primary search was completed and crews ventilated the roof. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire and crews conducted salvage and overhaul once their investigation was complete. Firefighters from Stations 15, 8, 7, 16 and 6 responded to this incident.
