Firefighters arrived on scene and found black smoke and flames coming from the roof. Everyone had already safely exited the building before HFD arrived. Crews quickly controlled the fire and determined that probably cause of the fire was from an electrical fan powered with an extension cord to inflate the restaurant’s cow figure on the roof. Firefighters from Stations 70, 71, 93 and 94 responded to this incident.
