Firefighters arrived on scene and upon entry into the main fire building encountered heavy smoke with no visibility. The fire was located and extinguished with no extension found. A section of the roof was also removed, and hot spots were extinguished. The fire was started by an A/C unit tech welding. Crews from Stations 36, 23, 70, 71, 29, 52, 61, 72, 94, 93, 24 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
