CAUSE:
Fire in dryer
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters from Station 67 arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the service entrance in the rear of a Luby's Restaurant. A fire had occurred in a dryer in the laundry room and set off a sprinkler. Firefighters shut the sprinkler system off and extinguished the rest of the fire. The dryer was removed and the sprinkler head was replaced and put back into service. The manager was advised to have the system inspected by the alarm company and a health inspector was requested. Firefighters used fans to blow out the rest of the smoke from the back areas of the restaurant.
