The crew of Engine 39 arrived on scene with nothing showing from a one-story residential structure. The residents stated that their kitchen was on fire and everyone had safely gotten out of the home. The firefighters extinguished the fire in the oven and with the crew of Ladder 34 closed the gas line and removed the oven, cabinets and items on the counter form the house. They checked the wall and ceiling for fire extension and found none.
