2-Alarm Apartment Fire in The Westwood Area

The cause was ruled as incendiary by HFD Arson investigators
|
|
|
Firefighters arrived on scene and found fire coming from two sides of an apartment building. There was a report of possible children trapped, but no one was found after a search. A second alarm was requested, however only one unit was utilized from the 2-alarm companies and the other units went back into service. Crews controlled the fire and The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents. Firefighters from Stations 2, 28, 59, 68, 83, 10, 48, 51, 60, 69, 76, 82, 8, 57 and Rescue 10 responded to this incident.
