Firefighters arrived on scene to find a detached townhome garage on fire. They began an attack on the fire and checked for extension, conducting a primary search of the townhomes. The fire was controlled with structural damage only to the walls and roof structure of the garage and significant smoke extension to the nearby garages due to a common flat roof with a void space. The fire was caused by a malfunctioning electrical connection on the wall of the garage. Firefighters from Stations 2, 28, 51, and 60 responded to this incident.
