Firefighters responded to two passengers aboard Southwest flight 2233 at Gate 43 at William P. Hobby Airport. One passenger was assessed for a possible cardiac arrest and the other for a head injury. Upon arrival HFD crews assessed the cardiac patient and applied the AED. No cardiac arrest was indicated and no defibrillation was needed. The patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further examination. The passenger with head injury complaints was also assessed but refused transport to a hospital and boarded their connecting flight.
